Case Overview:
In this case an IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) patient presented with a heterotopic pregnancy where there was a simultaneous ectopic pregnancy in the right fallopian tube and an intrauterine pregnancy. At 13 weeks they had to terminate the ectopic pregnancy and the intrauterine pregnancy was continued. Once the baby was born it unfortunately had neurological injuries. The jury found in favor of the defense.
